We are now on the verge of a Second Great Depression. As the apparatchiks in the Kremlin of the Soviet Union would say when confronted with a curious convergence of events, “This is no accident, Comrades.”
For the Dems in DC, however – Reid, Pelosi, Frank, Rahm Emanuel, Zero, their minions and handlers like Soros – it is different. They do want this. They do want massive unemployment and economic collapse, an outright Second Great Depression worse than the First.
The evidence is that their every action without a single exception has made our economy worse, not better. If their actions were caused by random incompetence and cluelessness, then the odds would be high that some actions would have done some good.
And the obverse: they have done nothing, not one single thing, designed to improve employment (real jobs, not government moocher jobs) and prosperity. This is no accident, comrades. They haven’t done anything to genuinely improve the economy because they don’t want to improve the economy. They want poverty because for them poverty=power, power for them.
Ok, it’s really no secret by now that radical progressives propel themselves into power on the crest of real or manufactured crises. Rahm Emanuel has admitted it publicly and that tired old soundbite has more than made the rounds. This we should not be surprised to know.
But, what is it about the third week in April (or fourth, depending), particularly April 19th, as a time period for major, game-changing events that eventually parlay themselves into political power grabs?
The BP oil spill that began with an as-yet unexplained massive oil rig explosion on April 19th 2010 is only the latest major disaster to have occurred on this enigmatic date.
There was the Beirut bombing of 18 April, 1983.
The ATF raided a religious compound in Arkansas on April 20, 1985, then it was the Waco, TX Branch Davidian sect’s turn on April 19th, 1993.
Remember Columbine on April 20th, 1999?
Virginia Tech shootings? Yup, April 18th, 2007, with the Johnson Space Center shooting happening just two days later.
How about Oklahoma City? Yes, let’s talk about Oklahoma City.
The Republicans were on a roll, Big Government was to be rolled back to its Constitutional limits, our Republic was to be rescued from the miasma of liberal cultural destruction, the Democrat Party was to be dismantled like the Soviet Union.
It was all over 105 days later. On April 19, 1995, the Oklahoma City Federal Building was blown up by a man portrayed as a right-wing anti-government terrorist.
Bill Clinton, the Democrats in Congress, and the entire gang of their enablers in the media were able to smear the Gingrich Republicans and anyone advocating less government control over their lives with the brush of “right-wing terrorist” Timothy McVeigh.
In another article on the same blog, we read of a clear connection between the Clinton-ordered, FBI raid of Waco and McVeigh’s radicalism gone awry:
Timothy McVeigh claimed he blew up the Murrah Building in revenge for the atrocity committed by the US government in Waco a year earlier, when Bill Clinton’s Attorney General, Janet Reno, ordered the FBI to slaughter 87 men, women, and children by poison-gassing them to death.
Then, coming back to the Oklahoma City article from 2009, we complete the connection with this significant observation:
Today, this summer of 2009, we have eerie echoes of the months that preceded the OKC bombing. As public anger rose against the Dems and the Clintons, hardly a week passed without some media exposé of the threat of “right-wing militias.” Remember?
So what suddenly appears in the media this week? Headlines blaring “Officials See Rise in Militia Groups across US.”
Articles quoting Zero’s Dept. of Homeland Security: “White supremacists and militias are more violent and thus more likely to conduct mass-casualty attacks on the scale of the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing.”
“It’s only a matter of time,” claims an agent with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco & Firearms, the same outfit of fascists that precipitated the Waco Massacre (see America’s Saddam from September 2002.)
Yes, it is only a matter of time – until Zero and his Chicago thugs perpetrate some heinous terrorist act for which they and the media can blame “anti-government un-American right-wing hate groups .”
Don’t think that Nancy Pelosi’s accusation of “un-American mobs” of “angry right-wing” protestors at town halls “waving swastikas” was an emotional outburst. It was setting the stage. Folks, we are being set up. Just like in 1995.
Now for the clincher. Remember that in Spring 2010, we experienced Waco and Arkansas all over again when the rather insignificant and loony Michigan Militia was taken down by the Federal Government, ostensibly to make an example of them and to show the “Teapartiers” who is really in charge.
Seeing a pattern here?
If not, you’re simply not awake.
Ask not for whom the alarm clock tolls. It tolls for thee.
Please, don’t hit snooze again.
